Why you're thinking about hiring

It's rarely about volume.

It's rarely that the messages got too many. It's when they arrive — and what it quietly costs to miss one.

CustomersPeople answering
Demand curves. Headcount steps. The gap is where customers go quiet.
01

You're mid-job when they message

Answering means dropping the thing you're actually paid for.

02

They message when nobody's rostered

Nights and Sundays. Covering those hours takes three hires, not one.

03

The misses are invisible

Nobody tells you they booked somewhere else.

One person can only be in one of those places at a time. That's the trap — and it's why the answer keeps being “hire another one.”

A message arrives.
It's handled in three seconds.

It reads the message, checks it against your materials, does the work — then decides if this one is yours.

What your customer sees

Hi! Do you still take orders for this Saturday? 🎂
23:04
We do — Saturday pickup is still open. Two-tier starts at $180 depending on the design. Tell me the size and flavours and I'll price it now.

What it did in those three seconds

  1. Read it — and recognised her

What's being asked, and who's asking. She's ordered before.

Returning customer · 4 orders since March
  2. Checked what you told it

Your price list, your hours, your rules. Nothing outside them.

    price-list.pdf · opening hours
  3. Did the work

Checked Saturday, found it free, priced the tier off your list.

    Calendar · Sat 24th open
  4. Decided whose call it was

Sure and in policy, so it answered. Otherwise it stops and calls you.

Draft ready for you

Checked the calendar — the 24th has room.

Of course — the 24th is open for pickup. I'll move the lemon sponge across and keep the gold trim. Same $210.

It drafts. You approve. Then you let it run.

Start with every reply crossing your desk. Turn that off when you stop finding things to change.

  1. Day one — it drafts, you send

Read it, tap send. Edit one and the correction sticks — it doesn't need telling twice.

  2. When you're ready — it answers on its own

Turn drafts off. Anything sensitive still comes to you first.

  3. Always — it knows when to stop

Unsure or unusual: it hands over with the full thread instead of guessing.

Straight answers

Isn't this just a chatbot?

A chatbot answers questions. This works a shift: it quotes, books, escalates what it shouldn't touch, and leaves a record you supervise in one workspace. You correct it in a sentence, not a flow chart.

Should I cancel the job ad?

If the role is mostly answering the same questions and taking bookings — try this first. If it's judgment, hands-on work or relationships, hire the person, and let the agent take the volume off them.

Will it make things up?

It answers only from what you've given it — your prices, your rules, your documents. When it doesn't know, it says so and hands the conversation to you.

Does it work with my calendar?

It reads and writes your Google Calendar, in your own timezone. It only offers times you're actually free, and a booking it takes shows up like any other appointment — nothing to copy across.

What if it gets one wrong?

Start it in draft mode: nothing reaches a customer without your tap. Corrections stick, and anything sensitive routes to you even after you let it answer on its own.

How do I change what it says?

Talk to it. “Stop quoting weekend delivery.” Send it a new price list. Corrections take effect in seconds and it doesn't repeat the mistake — there's no settings panel to learn.

Will my customers know?

They get an answer in seconds, in your voice, at 11pm. You choose how it introduces itself — and when someone asks for a human, it hands over to you with the full thread.

Can my team use it?

Today the workspace is you and your agents. Shared seats — so the people you do hire pick up the same threads with the same memory — are rolling out as we onboard teams.

Can it take payments?

Not yet. Today it closes everything up to the payment: quote sent, appointment set, order specified. Payments are where we're headed.

Where do my customers talk to it?

Wherever they already reach you — Instagram, WhatsApp, LINE, the chat bubble on your website, an iPad at the counter, or your phone line.

How do I get in — and what does it cost?

We onboard in small batches, so it's waitlist-only right now. Joining costs nothing, and early businesses get founder pricing when paid plans launch.

Tell it about your business. It takes it from there.

Two minutes describing what you do, and your first agent starts answering. We onboard a handful of businesses each week, personally.
